Play Writing:
From 85 to the present
Wrote nine ‘one act’ plays, in addition to, three plays for children theater, such as “sayaad el-Afareet” e.g. “The Ghosts’ Hunter”
Acting:
From 1982 to 2000
Preformed 11 plays from own written plays, national writers and the global theater, such as The Jew of Malta by Christopher Marlowe, Shirazad by Tawfik el-Hakeem.
Theater Directing:
Directed 24 plays from own written plays, national writers and the global theater, such as “A doll’s House” by Henrik Ebsin, “Miss Julie” by August Strinberg, and “The Hairy Ape” by Eugene O’Neil. Currently preparing for directing the “Desire under the Elms” by Eugene O’Neil.
Critic Studies:
Conducted and completed a number of researches and critical studies in the field of Arabian and Global theater, in addition to the critical essays on the national and Arabian performances and its social impact. In addition to contributing a number of articles in the national theater festivals newsletters and “Masrahna” i.e. “Our Theater” Newspaper and in the daily festivals newsletters.

Awarded 3 prizes in the National Festival of Egyptian Theater for directing, setting and acting for excellence performance of the “A doll’s house” by Henrik Ibsen.


Awarded 5 prizes for “The Hairy Ape” by Eugene O’Neil. 1st award for directing, lighting, setting, dramatic dancing and best performance.

Presenting “The Hairy Ape” as a closing performance of the National Festival for Egyptian Theater, in Opera House Theater in Cairo affiliated to the General Organization for Culture Palaces, Ministry of Culture.


Conferences:






2006
Participated in The international conference on the event of 100 years passed on the death of Henrik Ibsen, attended by Her Majesty the Queen of Norway, I presented my experience in directing Ibsen’s masterpiece “A doll’s House”.








2006
A member in the general assembly of the theater scientific conference organized by the National Organization for Culture Palaces.




2008
Participated as the main mediator in the regional conference of the Egyptian regional authors, discussing a number of works written by regional theater amateur and professional authors.


2009
Organized the Alexandria 1st conference for digital culture, in the period between Oct. 27th and 29th 2009, where regional researchers participated and the conference came out with a number of recommendations such as:


Establishing “Tazawwok digital Center” which will digitalize most of the Egyptian creative arts in all its forms and introduce the digital cinema and the digital theater. In addition of being a member of the General Assembly of the Conference.

Conduct the “Fall Saloon” exhibition for the works of Alexandrian artists in most of fine Arts fields, the exhibition was conducted on 22nd of Nov.2009 for two weeks, in the “Tazawwok Cultural Palace”.

Manage and supervise all the activities in “The Tazawwok Cultural Palace” this includes:

Organized the tazwwok festival for the Alexandrian regional theater under the emblem “Theater without funding”, this depended on the recycled material within the surrounding environment.
Dec.7th to 12th 2009
Conduct second phase of the tazwwok Theater festival in Alexandria with collaboration and coordination of the Jesuit Cultural Center.
